I chose this cruise as I received a Casino offer to participate in the Premier Sailing which also happened to be Halloween Week. Having never sailed Carnival Magic, it was the perfect opportunity to complete my Dream Class sailings. I had been on the Dream and the Breeze multiple times, but never had an opportunity to sail Magic. The ship is beautiful, clean and well appointed with amenities and activities.
Cabin: We had an inside cabin on Deck 7 forward. We found the cabin to be good in size for 2 adults with ample storage space for a week long cruise. Our Cabin Attendant Jorge was very attentive to our needs and kept our cabin fairly clean at all times. Dusting seems to be something some cabin attendants avoid.
Service: I can honestly say, when I sail Carnival, I have had very few times to complain about the service. I found the service On Magic to exceptional. The crew throughout the ship were warm, friendly, polite, courteous and professional. In each area of the ship I spent time, I was always treated as a welcomed returning family member. Joseph, I Wayan and Raphael in the Main Dining Room were the perfect team.
Cabin Review
Interior
At a standard 185 sq. ft, the cabin is a good size for 2 adults. Storage is more than ample for 2 adults on a week long cruise. There are 2 outlets by the vanity which made charging our electronic devices much easier and faster than the the old one outlet cabins. The 2 speed hair dryer is located in the top draw of the vanity. Location is forward off the Atrium elevators. The bedding was comfortable and cabin temperature was acceptable throughout the week
