This was My birthday and Our Honeymoon Celebration. The housekeeping lady numerous times forgot to even go in our room so by day 3 we switched to the morning and evening turn down, so we could be guaranteed at least 1. Then the dining room staff sang happy birthday to a Nicole near me.. when they were done.. she was like well that was nice but I am Amanda. We prepaid for the spa services and my husband never made it to the spa due to very bad sea sickness, they would not even consider refunding his half.. so I stopped going and I am just going to file a claim. The embark was great, bought FTTF and walked right on the boat to our room at 11. The food tasted just like a buffet.. just boring and bland. Very disappointed, will not redo Carnival. This is my 4th cruise with them. So to sum it up, Housekeeping remembered my name, not my husbands, the dining room did not know either of us, to the point they sat us in the wrong peoples chairs 2x. The casino was good, got to the final round on the BJ and Slot Pull.. walked away even not down.
Well if you get sea sickness stick to the middle. I have never stayed in the front and, its 2 days later and we are still rocking hard core. You feel everything up there. Also, it is a forever walk from everything. Not sure the house keeper remembers the room, and know she doesn't vac, as I tested my theory and the same piece of paper stayed right in the middle of the room all week.
They provide a line to follow, ignore the taxis. It does not take an hour to get to City center, maybe 15 min. Awesome Church, cool down town experience.
