We enjoyed our little cruise, were somewhat disappointed with the shortage of chairs, particularly in the piazza area, as this is a lovely area with plenty of entertainment, and good coffee and food.
The polish violinists, and the pianist were lovely to listen too, and the entertainment crew, specially dj lovely were a pleasure to watch.
Most of the shows were of a very high standard, and we enjoyed them immensely, but the young violinist in the theater was very much a destroyer of a beautiful instrument, and along with many others, we walked out of his show, it was like a disco or worse. Es we appreciate it is hard to please everyone with everything.
The fact of not being informed in the patter the previous day about the 1 tender at a time at champagne bay, which would have determined an early attendance, therefore we could not get ashore, and the bad weather at luganville, just unfortunate, were disappointing.
The service in the dining room and cabin were exemplary, and we have made appropriate comments regarding rogelio, edi, enrico, dining room, and charles our cabin steward. They are to be commended, in our view.
We were disappointed with the food in the lido, although not as much as we have been on some other ships, but the food in the dining rooms was excellent.
Overall it was a pleasant cruise, and our cabin was excellent, although the shower was a little small, but luckily we are not oversize, so we coped ok with it.
All in all, it was quite a pleasant time and experience.
One thing i noticed on returning home and printing out my visa statement, was that numerous charges had been debited on our card, something that has not occurred on other ships, and i had paid our account in cash on the ship before disembarking.
Shower a little small but usable. Big people would be in trouble there.
