Just got off the Brilliance after 5 fantastic days. As my title suggests, what the ship lacked in trendy ways to keep you busy, it more than made up for it in the dedication of the crew. Everywhere you went onboard you felt welcomed and special. Every crew member seemed devoted to making all the passengers' cruise the best possible experience. I saw no unhappy faces for 5 days. A record....

We celebrated our 25th anniversary and booked a GS for the occasion. We spent nights in the concierge lounge where Bertie and Francis were on top of things. Even when my choice of bourbon became a challenge, Dr. Francis the Mixologist came through. Bertie really made our anniversary special. That's attention to detail and dedication.

We dined in all the specialty restaurants and found them all delicious. A special shout out to Izumi. Our last experience there 10 months ago was not the greatest. This experience was like night and day. I highly recommend you give Izumi a try.
