We were getting very disenchanted with cruising in general because, in our opinion the quality has gone downhill in the last several years. In January I stumbled upon a fantastic deal, in a Grand Suite, for October. Just got home Sunday and would be hard pressed to say anything negative. The cabin was huge and very well laid out. More storage than we could ever use. Suite class has it's own lounge and restaurant so service was excellent. The food was excellent also. We ate one night in Chops because we got it free from our travel agent and it was marginally better than the Coastal Kitchen. A big plus since we didn't have to mess with the Windjammer Cafe
Shows were unbelievable, we've seen them all several times before and enjoyed them just as much as we did the first time we saw them. We saw Mamma Mia twice. Also we got reserved seating for all shows except the Comedy Club. Center stage, first three rows, in what Ill call the loge level, not lower level or balcony. No reservations needed, just show up about 20 minutes early, show Seapass card and walk in.
It also had it's own lounging area on deck 17 towards the front of the ship. Plenty of lounge chairs and even several cabanas, no charge, first come first served. There was no pool.
