First off let me say I was set on not liking the ship because I love her sister ship the Celebration. However with that said she sure did change my mind. I brought 3 of my granddaughters along with their boyfriends and we were originally going to sail on the Celebration. So this was not my first choice and I didn't think my girls would like it. But I was wrong. I purchased the Concierge package for everyone and it worked well as it always does on the Celebration. Ok back to the Classica, the food, we tried all the upcharge restaurants. We went to the wine tasting which was part of the package so they had samples of the pizza and it was to die for. So we did the pizza in the afternoon. The best pizza and I am of Italian heritage and I can't say enough good things about it. We tried the Rock Grill and that was a dining experience into itself. Great tender steaks and seafood. They do a presentation and the kids loved it. So now I have to critique the Admirals Club that was somewhat of a disappointment and here is why. On the Celebration the main dining rooms Stellar Prime and the Admiralty Club are very nice. Dark wood paneling, frosted glass dividers and big picture windows. First off the Admirals on the Classica is way too small to accomodate the concierge people and the overflow went to the Yellow Elder. Neither one of the dining rooms were nice looking. I am shocked because the rest of the ship is so elegant. They need to move the Admirals Dining Room to another part of the ship and make it as special as the Celebration dining rooms. Another criticism is the suites. The marble bathroom is beautiful and so it the balcony but the suites themselves are shabby looking at best. Unless they redecorate the suites, the next time I sail on the Classica I'll just take a regular cabin. I highly recommend this ship. I will sail on her again. I know this cruise line listens to their passengers and I know they will make the improvements I just mentioned because they probably have heard them before. One last thing, when they owned the little ferry ship the Bahamas Celebration, there was a cruise direction name Steve Zimmerman. Well, he was the greatest and they in their infinite wisdom brought him back as their comedian. They need to make him the cruise director again because I don't know who their cruise director is but I sure know Steve Zimmerman. Great time and can't wait to do it again.

Cabin Review

Cabin Balcony Suite

Our cabin steward didn't come by to say hello. No ice, dirty water pitcher. The personnel on the suite section need to some coaching from the Celebration people. They were hard to find, we had to call Kindalinger our concierge. The Suites weren't as nice as the suites on the Celebration.
