Kudos to Viking for targeting this niche market - smaller ships with no children allowed and with a focus on learning and history. We picked the Viking Sky Homelands Cruise specifically for these reasons - and were not disappointed at all!
We started in Stockholm and finished in Bergen Norway, with several ports in between along with one complete sea day on this 15 day trip.
We knew the ports would be good, but we were pleasantly surprised at how nice the ship itself was, with meal selections, friendly people, entertainment, and more.

Cabin was quite large compared to our expectations. Plenty of room to move around. We travel light so easy to put our suitcases beneath the bed. Love the bathroom - large, wonderful shower - and the floors are heated!
Room steward kept our ice bucket full and always responded to any requests we might have. Room was quiet at night too, so must be good soundproofing (or else the neighbors didn't have their TV on). TV was good, but we only had it on to look at the Bridge Web Cam, the port highlights, and things like that, although we could have watched channels and movies.
