We had a great experience on our 21 Oct 18 cruise. The staff were great, drinks package was excellent value for money, food plentiful, hot and lots of variety. The shows were grand we enjoyed the John & Paul duo, Al the American comedian, The Tenor (I'm afraid I can't remember his name - but he was good), Reigning Rocks was fantastic, Trust me jack were great (but loud!) and we enjoyed lots of other stuff and there were talks also !- the ones by Jim Kennedy from NASA were extremely interesting and we went to all 5!. The Captains' talk was also incredibly enlightening. We had a very good time - not every event was to our taste so we didn't go, but that wasn't a problem as there was always something to do (we are adults and can actually entertain ourselves!) This was a value for money, action packed cruise. Anyone who says otherwise must be used to 10* service elsewhere (in which case I'd love to know where so I can give it a go). The ship was spotless.

There were a higher number of older folk on this particular cruise - so the pace was a bit slower - but when on hols - chillax. I'd recommend this ship as a holiday for anyone who wishes to spoil and indulge themselves. Just go with the flow - apologies for the pun.

Some staff of note were: SkyLounge Connor & Bogdan, MDR4 Eva on the front desk - she's from Macedonia - she is completely on the ball and will assist you with the biggest smile. Toto, Pawan & Luidmyla were also so charming & efficient, Lillia on the MDR3 (and egg station at breakfast). Finally, of course our stateroom attendant - Kosim - total gentleman.

Spotless! the shampoo, conditioner, soap & body lotion were plentiful and smelled very nice. Always had fresh towels and towelling robe was provided on request.

Nice touch with the umbrella! I appreciated the fridge (which we got emptied) and the kettle but I brought my own hairdryer as I detest those ones where you have to continually depress a button to keep the thing working.

The chocolate treat on the pillow each night was cute.

Balcony/verandah was washed numerous times - so nice to sit out on.
