An excellent cruise spoilt only by inflated drink prices.

We chose this cruise as it provided something different from Asia and the South Pacific.

The ports of call were all excellent and recommended. Our wait staff in the dining room were a great combination and made the cruise for us.

On the downside we found that the drink prices (particularly spirits) were grossly inflated for this cruise when compared to other Princes cruises that we have been on. By example, so if you like a shot of Bundaberg rum and a can of Coke , it will set you back AUD $17.25 ( almost enough to warrant a royal commission).

Cabin Review

Deluxe Balcony

Cabin DB

The balcony cabin was clean ( as you would expect on a new ship) and well laid out. They appear to have put some thought into the shower configuration as water did not go everywhere.

And wait for it, the fridge actually kept things cold.

The was no complimentary water and anything out of the ordinary came at a cost.

Port Reviews

Akaroa

Access is by ship tender. Initially long queues so don't rush as it only takes 15 minutes to get ashore and you only need a couple of hours to get around.
