Although we have taken many cruises, this was our first river cruise and our first Viking cruise. We were very impressed. It was so nice being on a smaller boat with just a few hundred people. We felt like we got acquainted with most of them. The service was outstanding! Everyone on board was delightful with deal with- any question was answered with a smile. I especially like the excursions. Each day we had an overview of the city and most days had a chance to explore on our own. An added bonus was the excursion to Cresky Krumlov. It was very interesting. My two favorite events were the night cruise in Budapest and the afternoon cruise down the river. The lights on all the buildings and bridges were magical. The afternoon cruise was relaxing and entertaining. For such a small ship, the entertainment was fantastic. Every night there was something fun happening in the main lounge. The last night on board was our 45th wedding anniversary and the staff did not disappoint. We arranged to have dinner at Manfredi's on the Aquavit Terrace and everything was perfect - the setting, the food and the service. It was a wonderful trip.

Cabin Review

Cabin Standard

The cabin was just fine. My husband and I use the cabin for sleeping and showering- we spend most of our time either on the deck or out and about in the city.
