We love wine and wanted to learn more about the Bordeaux wine region, so this cruise was perfect. Even wine enthusiasts on our cruise admitted that they learned quite a bit from the included excursions. The tour guides were excellent at keeping the tours interesting but also relaxing. We loved Jaime’s knowledge and sense of humor.

The entire Viking team did a remarkable job of anticipating — and meeting — our every need. We felt like royalty! The food, whether it was casual fare in the Aquavit or fine dining in the main dining room, was always delicious and plentiful. The selected wines were, of course, local and perfect for the meal. And the service was always supreme. They knew our names within a day or two of arriving on board.

From the captain to the concierge to the housekeeping staff, every single crew member was gracious, friendly, and truly seemed to appreciate us as guests.
