This was an excellent cruise line. One of the outstanding features is that it is really an adults only cruise. I have nothing against children but it's not relaxing when you have to listen to whiny children on a cruise you've worked so hard to be able to pay for. Time and place, etc. It was educational as well. Shore excursions offerings were spectacular and educational. The guides provided were excellent and knew their stuff. Another plus with Viking is that they don't try to sell you things while you are on your vacation. Have cruised Royal Caribbean's Alaska Cruise. While that cruise was enjoyable, they were always trying to sell us things like liquor packages, pictures, etc. They did not do this on Viking. Also big plus was the size of the ship. It was smaller and more intimate yet inclusive. Staff was excellent. Meals were very good. So nice to have a veranda in every stateroom. Would highly recommend Viking and will go again in two years on another cruise.

Cabin Review

Excellent. Spacious. Nice veranda/balcony with every stateroom.
