I was recently on a Patagonian cruise on the Stella Australis. It was exceptional in all respects. The ship was very nice, very clean and comfortable. There is no TV or WiFi, which was great and contributed to relaxation. This was an all vegan cruise and the chef did a wonderful job and the food was very good. The dining room staff was the best I have ever encountered! The cabin stewards were also excellent. Everyone’s pleasantness and service standard was great! The true reason for the trip was the scenery, which was stunning! The expedition crew was exceptional! There was a presentation every evening and expectations for the next day were given. Shore excursions were in zodiac boats and very well organized. The crew was very knowledgeable about the area. The excursions were 1-2/ day and varied in exertion levels, but all involved some level of exertion. There is no “regular” entertainment, but the scenery was the entertainment. After an excursion, it was nice to relax, and not do anything else but look out at the beauty. I would highly recommend this cruise ship, mostly for the crew and the destination.
