We wanted to visit Madeira and Lisbon so we chose this canary island cruise and booked one year in advance. The sailing was smooth and the cabins were of a reasonable size. The ship was in good condition and clean. The problem was that there were too many people and this made it very difficult to get into a lift.We were on level 11 so needed the lift. This meant waiting a long time to find space in the lifts. We had anytime dining so that was a good decision but the Horizon Buffet restaurant was always packed and people would have to walk around with trays in hand to find a seat which more often than not available. So some people had to walk outside to eat on the tables near the pool. The food in the restaurants were the same menu with a little difference every day.The entertainment was SO SO. Too much emphasis was placed on selling rather than their guests. One day they barricaded the area where the sales were going to take place and were turning away passengers who had to find an alternate route to proceed towards the place they were heading for.Everyday there was a sales leaflet in your cabin.I found this a bit overpowering. The best thing about this cruise were the ports of call and the Indian staff.

A bit chaotic.
