We had been looking at cruises online for a long time, and decided this was the one when we discovered I could be in Paris for my birthday ( October 22). It was beautiful in every way - from the movies under the stars, snuggling under a blanket while the crew delivered fresh popcorn, our comfortable stateroom with the most comfortable bed ever, the variety and quality of food, the excellence of the staff and 5 star accommodations, seeing European destinations we had only dreamed about - Lisbon, Gibraltar, Barcelona, two ports in France (Le Havre and Toulon), Livorno and Rome. We wondered if it would be frustrating having only a day in each port, but we loved being onboard the ship so much that we were happy to return after our adventures each day to the comfort of our stateroom and enjoy a glass of wine on our balcony to unwind. We are hooked on cruising and may have to come out of retirement to fund more trips! The Princess motto is “Come back new” and we feel like we did - refreshed and energized to learn more about the history and cultures of the beautiful places we visited. We can’t wait to go again!
