Recently, we enjoyed an 11-day cruise to various Caribbean islands traveling out of NYC. The staff was amazing, very friendly, and we shared a lot of laughs together. The entertainment offered, expecially the rock bands "Shanti LLeone and the Guilty Pleasures" and the "Tenors of Rock" were outstanding. We were able to enjoy performances every night of the cruise and still wanted more. Hoping the NCL continues the trend with such amazing talent on their cruise ships for all to enjoy.
We met a number of old friends/staff members on the ship and were glad to see them before the ship repositioned its home port to New Orleans. It is really special to have great friends within the NCL family.
The island stops were very good, but it would be better for the staff to communicate changes in arrival times much earlier in the cruise than just the night before. The early arrival (6AM) for the final island made it very challenging to enjoy the entertainment options on the ship the night before and still get up early in the morning to get of the cruise ship to enjoy the island. With the island being dark until around 7:30AM, this really took away from the actual time you could experience what the island had to offer.
We chose an inside cabin for this cruise, because we primarily use it for sleeping. The room is in the front of the ship and you can feel more of the movement of the ship than in the middle or the back. The room stewards in this area are all very pleasant and added to the enjoyment of the cruise. Thanks!!!
Outstanding natural beaches discovered near the cruise port adjacent to the old fort location. Breathtaking views of the ocean and coastline. What an amazing find!!!
St. Thomas offers some nice views from a distance, but he current road re-construction made it difficult to enjoy Front Street.
Amazing shoreline and water available at nearby beaches. By far, our favorite island to relax and the beach and catch some rays. Can't wait to visit this island again!!!
With a schedule change, the actualy daylight time on the island was reduced so this impacted our ability to experience what this island had to offer. We basically just bought souvenirs at the shops near the pier. A little bummed about this as we have enjoyed St. Kitts in the past.
Reduced time on the island just led to us getting souvenirs at the gift shops near the ship.
