To call something great, it really has to stand about among other similar experiences, and while this cruise was not bad, there were many missed opportunities to make it much better, starting with the completely lousy greeting that we had upon embarkation. (one could more accurately say, the greeting that we didn't have). Arrival clarification: Security fine, directional crew member very, very friendly.....then we met the guy on the elevator. We'll call him 'M" (we know that name but do not wish to embarrass). "M" was wearing the requisite "welcome" sash across his chest, but his demeanor was an immediate and complete downer. M had no smile, no greeting....no words other than "what floor"? Not even please. We only got the question after we greeted him. ABSOLUTELY NO PLACE for that sort of guest treatment in a hospitality job. Several other crew members were the same and it definitely detracted from the many others who were noteworthy. Food was not great, despite some earlier reviews and our own expectations. The food was average. They DO NOT KNOW HOW TO COOK A STEAK. Paid extra to eat in steak restaurant, and a waste of money and time. Had a steak on our designated restaurant, same story.

Balcony

Cabin BD

Worn carpet....maybe makes it to spring, then replace. Bathroom needs a deep cleaning. Never smelled good. Balcony door nearly impossible to open...then operated fine. Our Cabin Attendant (Grace) was very good and personable.
