Sadly, it was our 7th Carnival cruise and our last. For a new ship, atrium was a disappointment. Customer service slacked immensely. Cabin steward was not good at all. Embarktion luggage was a fiasco. Internet working occasionally. No insulation on decks, we were on the 9th deck and were awaken plenty by Lido deck above us and running, deck chairs moving at 2am to clean the floor. Food wasn't like it used to be. Adequate. Charge for everything now. Their tipping is getting ridiculous for every since thing. Mike the cruise director was great. Ship was clean and the good food options were an additional charge of course. The Lido deck buffet has declined big time except for the breakfast. I think some things were reheated some nights. Just not what it used to be and even in the formal dining room, portions are smaller. Quality wasn't like it used to be. Trying Royal Carribean again.
No more ice buckets. Not sure why. Clean and nice. Bed is very firm now. Air didn't work great either compared to our kids room.
