Chosen because we wanted to experience Princess. and the Panama Canal was a bucket list item. The icing on the cake was Cartegena and Limon. Enjoyed the ports very much with very good ship excursions. Had been to Jamaica and Cayman before so although Im not a big Jamaica fan. I had a good Falmouth experience that changed my mind about visiting the island again. It was to be a port/ship day, but found a tour that was very enriching and we were kept safe. Cayman was the the beach, a bit pricy but a lovely afternoon. As I said Cartegena and Limon were a treat. Great excusions with guides that were really up on their history of the island. Enjoyed all the ports very much.

On the ship. Food is excellent. although Horizon Court gets to be a bit tiresome with the same things, but hey you can do breakfast just so many ways. Lunch in the dining room was superb as was afternoon tea. Dinner was fantastic, both in menu choices and in service. Eduardo and Husin, our waiters gave outstanding service, and while Husin was learning, his youthful appearance and upbeat personality really gave us a great impression.

Pools are nice, though of course crowded on sea days. Narration of our passage in and out of the Panama Canal was very informative and we both learned alot.

Cabin Review

Balcony

Cabin BB

Beautiful stateroom was tastefully decorated. though the shower was super tiny for a big guy like me, but it served the purpose. Balcony nice and big and partially covered. Huge flat screen, didnt measure but I think about a 42 LG. It was fine for what we wanted.

Port Reviews

Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades)

We arrived the day before and stayed at the Bahia Mar, on the beach. Had dinner on the Jungle Queen excursion, a must-do if ever in Ft Lauderdale. Next morning we got breakfast at the little deli at the hotel and went across the street to the beach. It was a nice preamble to our cruise.

Colon (Cristobal)

Just a quick stop to pick up excursion passengers from the Panama Canal leg of the trip. We didnt port where all the you tubes and picture show , but to another terminal Carival Corp owns. very shoddy had a duty free ship and some natives dressed as indians selling the typical cruise port fare.

Grand Cayman (Georgetown)

We went up to 7 mile beach. had been to Cayman twice before and done the stingray thing and the land tour. We wanted the public beach. the cabby took us to a private club, that while very nice, was also very expensive. However was a nice experience and a very relaxing time.
