We chose this cruise to celebrate my Big Birthday, and as usual, Celebrity didn’t fail to impress. The Itinerary appealed to us as we hadn’t been to most of the ports of call. We had an Aquaclass cabin with balcony. Comfy bed, decent sized bathroom and adequate wardrobe space. Our favorite trip was to a Spanish Ranch to see beautiful Andalusian horses. Prior to the cruise we had five days in Rome, and stayed at the Pantheon Hotel right in the centre of Rome. Location was amazing but our ‘double’ room was sadly lacking in size. We had six inches of room between our bed and the wall and paid approximately £850 for the privilege, all booked through Celebrity. The food on Reflection was first class although the main buffet restaurant served food which was barely warm. Once home, we were disappointed to have been charged for two bathrobes and for using the minibar. Neither of which we used. Overall, we had an amazing time and would definitely go again.

Port Reviews

La Spezia (Cinque Terre)

We traveled to Florence by coach arranged by Celebrity. The 90 minutes each way were 2 and a half hours in reality. That left us two hours in the city. Poor value for money, and the travel time was misrepresented in the brochure.

Villefranche

Nothing doing here. Get on a train and go go Nice or Antibes.

Cartagena (Spain)

Lovely town. Very clean and modern. Visit the Maritime Museum. Well worth it.
