We have been on 40 cruises, many with RC and the Liberty of the Seas was by far the worst ship ever. Says it was refurbished in 2016 but you would never know it. Carpets were dirty, chairs all over, especially in the main dining room were stained, ripped and dirty, we did not even want to sit on them. The bed was so hard, 4 days after getting off the ship we still have back aches. RC has eliminated all little things, no midnight buffets, no entertainment in the main promenade or different levels, no specialty cooks at the main buffet, Food was overall terrible. We were forced to eat in the specialty restaurants at a cost of $175. to us. We are seniors and did not expect to pay this additional money. We have another cruise booked for Nov 2019, tried to cancel but RC wants $100. pp to cancel ONE YEAR IN ADVANCE, We spoke with several supervisors but they would not budge on this. Guess we will be forced to go on this next cruise that cost us plenty.
