Where do I start over all the cruise itself was very relaxing and laid-back and I got to see some very beautiful views of several countries but as far as the ship itself it was very very very underwhelming I did not get what I was expecting overall in terms of fun entertaining the food was lacking it can best be described as a step above getting Shoney's I ended up eating a lot of cereal ice cream and hamburgers because I was not satisfied with any of the food on the ship I went to dinner and got a shrimp cocktail that was served in a bowl the shrimp were overcooked they were very small and I was just not satisfied with the taste I felt so bad for the workers on the ship they do not look happy which in turn made me feel like I was causing their unhappiness by being there the people were nice on the ship but they did not make me feel like I was having a once-in-a-lifetime experience this was my first cruise everyone who's been on a cruise before has brag to me about the experience I should have with the food with the service the fun with the entertainment and I didn't get anything that was described to me I really have to question whether or not I did the right thing to celebrate my honeymoon and my husband and I's birthday I was very very disappointed with what I thought was going to be an awesome experience the main thing was the food was just not goodalso I left the ship with just thinking all they wanted to do was get as much money out of you as they could they wanted to sell you everything it was all about money money money and I just wish that I could have had a better experience I would have gladly spent more money if I had something worth spending it on
Cabin Review
Ocean Suite
the cabin itself overall was a spacious as you can ask for to be on a cruise ship I was actually pleased with the amount of space that we had compared to what some of the other rooms look like as I passed up and down the hallway the only thing about it is just a little dated other than that I have really no problems with my suite

Costa Maya
this by far was probably the most disappointing stop that we made on the whole cruise and I learned very quickly that it is designed to make Carnival money its makeshift little downtown type areas designed around you spending money and that's it you get nothing really culturally authentic about the destination it's just designed to make the cruise line more money and in order for you to get some of that authenticity you actually have to spend a lot of money to do an Excursion which should kind of come with naturally being there
Roatan
this stop ended up being better than the first but once again it is is designed around you just spending money and helping Carnival earn money is the same exact type of stores and stops and it's just good to get off the boat and get to see different views but unless you do an Excursion and spend a lot of money you're not going to really get much
Cozumel
this by far was the best stop we had the last stop before we headed home the shopping area was almost twice as big as everything else and I actually had an opportunity to step off the grounds and see a little bit of Cozumel but again money money money that's all everybody wants instead of creating a great experience so I wish that was an opportunity to see some of the natural culture there by having like little sideshows of people dancing and being able to hear some music and sit down and listen to some things without having to give up your whole life savings for it
Belize City
Again it was just okay again money money money and that's pretty much it by this by this by this where's the culture where the people where can we sit down and hear a lot about about how they live all I hear is if you go away from the properties that were let off at you see a lot of people who are poor or struggling and by people not identifying with that I can kind of see why we are left at those type of shopping areas but it doesn't help make the trip any better
