We started on our 25th anniversary and choose this trip every year because we love the fall foliage with the beautiful changing colours, crisp breezes, cleansing rains and wonderful rocking of the ship upon the autumn waters.

We’ve taken 5 or 7 days round trip cruises from New York and always disembark wanting more. We expect the unexpected and this trip was no exception as we had gale force winds which prevented us from going into port at St. John. The captain and the Princess Cruise staff rose to the occasion for this extra day at sea. We were safe, dry and continuing on to our next port.

The ship is always clean, tidy, spacious and filled with warm, friendly staff and fellow travellers. There is a real family atmosphere onboard that develops and increases as the cruise goes on. The amenities are second to none whether it be the staterooms, dining venues or public spaces for relaxing or entertainment.

Cabin BA

Grace, our cabin steward, kept our stateroom very clean. She was incredibly personable and friendly. I really love the all white cotton bedding. I would prefer that the textile throw cushions were not placed on the bed as they are for aesthetics only and carry the germs of previous room dwellers. I remove these immediately upon arrival and place them in the closet. Clothing storage and drawer space is ample. The in room fridges are great, I’ve been requesting this feature in hotel rooms for decades.

As we were travelling with others, the balcony room was space enough since we tended to socialize in the public areas. Time spent on the balcony was less than in a warm weather cruise but we still enjoyed bundling up and standing outside to see the ports or breath in the fresh air of the open seas.
