We wanted a short, but quality, itinerary and this: Tampa, Key West, Havana cruise was perfect. The Majesty of The Seas is an old (25) ship with the majority of rooms enclosed or interior. The ship is well maintained. There was a chronic sewer odor on deck 4 forward, port side. Fans were in the hallway. The crew and staff provide excellent service throughout. Boarding, shore excursions, and debarkation were efficient. The food in all venues is below average for cruise vessels(7) that I have been on. The entertainment was only fair, but enthusiastic. This short, inexpensive cruise had an interesting clientele. Most were fine, but several were "R" rated. Solicitation to buy drinks and merchandise on the decks, common areas and on TV was constant but not obnoxious. The ship is easy to get around on, and the elevators were fast, but crowded. We had light 1 to 1.5 meter seas and the ship wallowed side to side.
Cabin was tight but efficient and clean. NO REFRIGERATOR in cabin to keep medicines or beverages cool. Hard beds, decent linens. Good air conditioner. Toilet flush button on bowl between toilet seat hinges. Neither hygienic nor appealing. Cabin was maintained very well every day, with interesting presentations every day of towels folded into animal shapes.
