I have travelled twice with Carnival in the past and i am looking forward a cruise on the new Dream. I am traveling from Calgary Canada to Port Orlando Via Air due to the drastic distance to port. I found a new gem and really recommend Hotwire com for really great prices regarding hotels.

Embarkation to the ship I always find like I am being corralled and then herded onto the ship just like cattle. Pleasant memories and anticipation of the cruise keep me calm.

The state rooms are the typical carnival staterooms ,clean and efficient.I was surprised with the rather small TV thou. I found the ship very familiar to the rest of the carnival fleet, over the top decorations and very efficient use of space. And of course what is a carnival ship with out obstacles such as that fact that you cannot go from one end of the ship to the other on the third floor. I found that perhaps they put to much into the ship such as dedicated rooms rather then having an open concept. The carnival dream seems to have the most Hot tubs at sea yet they seem to be always full. The separate adult area was a great great due to it's size , decorations and , and seclusion from the rest of the ship.Mini Golf and the water slides were a great hit , but when the wind picked up they closed the slide.
