Celebrity Eclipse Cruise Review by Marionparko
- Sail Date: October 2018
- Destination: Western Mediterranean
- Cabin Type: Ocean View
The entertainment in the theatre although all acts were very good it lacked variety. The booked acts were all singers except for a magician!
The food in the seaview cafe was very good . Sometimes we struggled to find a seat. In the evening we eat at around 6 most nights. We had to book a table for the first night and just rebook nightly as we went in. Some nights the service was a bit slow but mostly it was ok . The staff are all friendly and polite. I was rather disappointed at the menu's, they obviously reuse the sheets but some nights they were ripped and dirty.
It was a good itinerary with only 2 sea days.
On one of the sea days we went up to the hot glass show and both made a vase. They were a bit expensive but a lovely useful keep sake.
The Captain was very visible on the cruise and even said goodbye as we left the ship.

When the ship was due to sail there was regularly a party of people invited into the helipad to watch the sail away! This usually happened as we returned to our cabin to change for the evening! So not only did these lucky people have a lovely view of the sail away but also a clear view into our cabin!
One of our ports we would be using the tender boats, so no bow thrusters or ropes that morning!!!!! No instead they let the anchor down! This was a whole new level of noise! Although this cabin is spacious and light. I do not recommend it unless you are profoundly deaf!

MalagaIt rained! We found the glass museum. This turned out to be the owners private collection! He took us on our tour which is in a middle class townhouse . The house was as interesting as the glass! Our guide was very enthusiastic and made the tour very interesting. It took about 2 hours. Excellent value for money!View All 461 Malaga Cruise Port Reviews

Rome (Civitavecchia)We got the train to Tarquinia ! The station is in the middle of no where and a 2/3 mile walk into Tarquinia! Beautiful place! After lunch we found our way to the Etruscan berial site! I decided we should get a taxi back to the station. Apparently there are no taxis in Tarquinia so we walked!View All 2,146 Rome (Civitavecchia) Cruise Port Reviews
