Traveled with children

We chose this cruise line because we thought it would be great for our teenage daughters. It was a not a great experience for our kids. They tried every night to meet and mingle with other kids. They didn't make one friend the entire week and they both tried so hard. It was so disappointing. The people in charge of the kids program could do so much more to encourage kids to mingle with each other. The ship itself is beautiful but your definitely knew how many people were on board. There was often no room to get into the pools and definitely no pool chairs available unless you got to the pool very early. I'm very surprised that the adult only area "Solarium" doesn't have a pool. It has a splash pad. What's up with that? It was our first cruise so we were very excited to experience it. We'll definitely cruise again but will try another cruise line that is more kid oriented.
