Port: Charleston- My mom is handicap with a placard. So we got free parking, otherwise it is $20 a day. Crew members directed us to where you give your checked luggage. Then they directed us to the handicap parking where a shutte was waiting for us. You will take your carry on on this bus. They drove us to the front.
SECURITY: We brought a 12 pk of soda each that we bungee cord to our carry on. You will be asked to remove it for the xray belt along with lap top. You will also need to have your boarding pass, id, and birth certificate handy. They told us our room wasn’t ready until 1:30. We just got on the boat and went to eat. Carry ons and all.
CABIN- The cabin was great. If you are traveling with child, I would strongly recommend you get the pull out bed under the bed. The bundle bed above takes up too much room. The bathroom on the other hand smelled like sewage the hold time. In our cabin, we had two plug ins and a hair dryer. We brought a plug in adapter that had three plug ins and two usb ports. Worked perfect. The steward brought us a bucket of ice for our can drinks constantly. No fridge. We also prepaid water which was waiting in our room. We used those for walking around on port.
