We enjoyed London for a few days, our third visit to that great city.

The decor and soft music on NCL Jade were the best we've experienced of the fleet. However, the singing in the atrium was usually simply awful, but we just didn't stay to listen so no problem. The Path of the Vikings itinerary was very interesting and exciting. When it included NYC, we were so pleased to visit museums and family, too, but were disappointed that the Hop On Bus wasn't offered as a shore excursion. We've been very happy with NCL in the past and were not disappointed. Food in the regular dining rooms was better than in the past; and the specialty restaurants were perfect. The employees go out of their way to make our cruise a wonderful experience.

We go on approximately 3-4 long cruises every year, and a transAtlantic trip is always one of them. Great experience and highly recommended!

Cabin Review

Mid-Ship Balcony

Cabin BA

The cabin would have rated an excellent, except for the lighting. It was very dark even with all lights on. But it had a huge bed, made more comfortable when we requested two egg-crate toppers. The decor was nicer than most all the NCL ships we've traveled on. It was extremely quiet and comfortable. The steward Narendra was one of the best.

Port Reviews

Lerwick (Shetland Islands)

Viking long houses were very interesting and had a great guide.

New York (Manhattan)

Disappointed that Hop on and Off Bus was not offered!! We booked on our own. Love NYC, got to tour on our own, including visiting Frick Museum and having dinner with family since we originally are from this area. Please revisit offereing Hop on and Off Bus tour!
