We chose this transatlantic cruise mainly because of the ports offered. When we booked, Amsterdam was to be the first stop from Copenhagen. This was changed to Gothenburg, Sweden....very disappointing, but all the other ports remained the same.

First the pros of this mega ship:

Balcony cabin storage was plentiful

Always clean and comfortable...front facing angle balcony

Port Reviews

Copenhagen

We spent 5 days here before cruising. Lovely city but pricey

Southampton

Able to walk through port which offered shopping, restaurants, and pubs.

Cobh (Cork)

Ireland is good. Wished more places were open...we were there on a Sunday so many were closed. Visited the Cathedral for Mass and then a few pubs.

Ponta Delgada

Able to walk through town...many shops. People swimming in bay.

New York (Manhattan)

We spent 4 post cruise days here. Enjoyed the city. The highlight was passing the Statue of Liberty at 1:15 am welcoming us back to the U. S.
