This was our first cruise with Celebrity and all I can say is Wow. From the moment we arrived on board, we felt special. There was a glass of champagne or something softer if you so desired. Our stateroom was fantastic, we had a family room just for the two of us and it was so spacious. The stateroom staff were so welcoming and anything you needed they brought to you. The dining experience was fantastic, the main restaurant, San Marco was a delight. Our head waiter was a bit shy and not very forthocming but his assistant was brilliant. We were very impressed with the food as there was always something to interest you, if there wasn't you just had to ask. The Assistant Maitre D made our cruise he organised for us to see around the Galley, that was just the two of us, we felt so special. The staff seem like one big family and all seem so happy.
We ate in the Ocean Liner restaurant 3 times, the food was exemplary as was the service. We were made so welcome. The crepe suzettes are out of this world, the best we have ever eaten. I would definitely encourage people to go to this special restaurant, the cover charge was well worth it.
The ship is starting to look a bit tired in areas but it is going in for a refit in April when they are putting a steak house in and upgrading all the staterooms. I'm sure that it will be fantastic once it is finished.
Really good size stateroom. It was on the stern of the ship and we really enjoyed sitting on the balcony as the ship left port and watching the sunset in the evenings. There was no shortage of space.
