This was our 7th Princess Cruise.

Pre-Cruise, we arrived in San Juan on Saturday 2-13-10. Our flight arrived on time to San Juan. Taxi service is regulated from the airport to the hotel so there is no long hauling allowed. We stayed overnight using our Marriott Rewards at the Marriott Stellaris Resort Hotel and Casino. Our room was in the Cabana section of the hotel with a partial ocean view. Others have commented on a slight musty odor in the rooms at the hotel. We found this to be true and can attribute it to the old carpeting and humidity. It was not a deal breaker. The room was comfortable for our pre-cruise stay. The grounds and beach area were beautiful. We did not eat at the hotel opting for local cuisine. We left the hotel by cab the next morning 2-14-10, to the Pan American Pier. We arrived at 11am and had a short wait to a holding area. Once we were cleared, we got our cruise cards and went to the duty free store and purchased alcohol to bring on board. We placed it in our carry on luggage and went through security without a problem.

We dropped our bags in our cabin and went to the coral dining room for a wonderful lunch. The ship set sail later that evening as we enjoyed the ships amenities.
