Our air-con was broken in our room and it took them two days to fix it after strong insistence on our part. We ended up sharing other rooms of our party as the room was too cold to sleep in. Even once repaired, it still made a strange whistling noise compared to other rooms booked by our party. 2 of the rooms in our party had broken toilets, which kept blocking and we had to use each other's toilets during the night. Throughout this we found guest services to be defensive, argumentative and uncaring. They would not move us to another room and we always had to insist on measures to rectify any fault. They did the less than the least they could have. I have no doubt that those who use our rooms in the future will experience the same room issues. We feel that we have been robbed of a relaxing holiday.
Further, any dietary requirements such a vegan or gluten-free require orders to be made by yourselves every day and are restricted to the chef's knowledge. We also often had to wait for non-dairy milks or gluten-free bread for some time. The food was very basic and not at all comparable to other's food. We paid the same money and really had to make do.
Disembarkation was very quick compared to embarkation. We enjoyed walking around the ship and taking in the views both when at sea and in port.
Broken air-con, broken toilets. Beds were comfortable.
Beautiful town and spent time at the port too. Windmills are a must see.
Wandered around the old town
