Let me start this review by saying, we love Carnival. We always have a wonderful time with Carnival and will continue to sail with them.

We just sailed out of Galveston on the Vista, 10/14. For the Vista being two years old, the ship was in rough condition. We had a spa balcony cabin, several things in the room were broken. My husband worked out and explained to me that several pieces of equipment were broken and that the treadmills are in pretty rough shape as well.

As far as spacing, it was very easy to get turned around on this ship, things weren’t laid out very well. We had a couples a massage and through out the massage, we could hear weights being dropped (my husband explained that the squat machine is literally up against that wall). This unfortunately took away from what should have been a rather relaxing massage. We also noticed that the atrium seems much smaller on this ship, I’m not sure if in the past the glass elevators made the atrium seemed bigger or if there is genuinely less space. Regardless the atrium lacked the flow that we have become accustomed with in the past.

Cabin Review

Cloud 9 Spa Balcony

Cabin 8S

Our cabin steward was awesome, our cabin not so much. The room is very close to two service rooms, doors were slamming all the time.

Port Reviews

Belize City

We only got to see the shopping center in Belize because of excursions being canceled. Go outside to shop! We bought a chess set for our oldest son, some guy was asking $250 for it, bought it outside for $40.
