Let me just start by saying this ship (NCL Bliss) was truly awesome, NCL has outdone themselves with this beautiful ship, from the massive observation lounge (never saw people sleeping in it as other have said), multiple sun decks (some with no one on them) and bars and restaurants everywhere. The embarkation was a breeze and from the moment we set foot on the ship we were amazed at all it had to offer. We had a balcony room and were lucky enough to get an angled balcony (Room 13270) that had some extra room, we traveled with another couple right next door. We had read some reviews about the Bliss haven issues with wait times for the elevators - did not see it, most of the time the elevators were empty. Overall, with four thousand people on the ship - we never felt like it was crowded. The room had ample storage for everything we brought (two suitcases each) and we stored the empty bags under the bed - which was awesome (we did request a mattress topper that was put on within an hour of requesting it) and so comfortable we slept like babies. It was great to sit outside and take in the views from the thirteenth floor and watch the waves go by, we also had the complimentary coffee, danishes and fruit delivered every morning by putting the order card out on the door the night before. Now for the dining - every place we ate the food was delicious and there were so many places to eat (that were included in the cruise). We did eat at one of the specialty dining venues (La Cucina) and it was excellent as well (this was included in a romance package that the couple we went with got us because we were celebrating my wife's birthday and retirement. I also got her the thermal spa (which she really enjoyed) for the week and a party package for her retirement (balloons, streamers, and a cake). We really never had a bad meal on the whole trip. The entertainment on board was great and we saw the Jersey Boys show, Havana, and the Beatles tribute show and they were all great. We rode the go-carts and even though the were an up-charge they were a blast. The poolside bands were great with special props to a band from Columbia - they rocked. We enjoyed the casino and I won close to six thousand playing slots with one jackpot winning over two-thousand bucks. The service from the bar tenders and wait staff were all exceptional. We did have a somewhat stressed cabin steward, not that he was bad he was just a little nit picky about us having our balcony slider open and kind of rushed us out of out room on disembarkation day - not a big deal though. We got to know a bar tender on the top deck bar (by the laser tag entrance) that was awesome (Effran) and he was always very attentive and new us by name (we had the UBP so we saw him a lot). As for the ports, this was the third time we have been on this same itinerary with NCL (past ships the Jewel and the Star) so we knew the ports and while we enjoy them we stayed on the ship for some of them on this trip just to enjoy the ship and kick it. We do enjoy Cabo and stepped off to roam around the already familiar port and pick up a fews gifts. Disembarkation took all of fifty minutes including customs at San Pedro port - it was amazing how quick it was. I would just like to finish by saying - Don't believe the bad things you read about this ship. We had a spectacular time on it and would definitely go again and in fact are already planning our next trip with NCL (most likely the Bliss or Joy). We have sailed with them exclusively our last eight cruises (sailed on Celebrity before that) and we are sticking with them. Thanks for reading, have fun and don't sweat the small stuff.

Don't know why anyone would complain!

Mid-ship Balcony Stateroom
Cabin BA 13270
Awesome angled balcony within a few steps of the aft elevators on the thirteenth floor and close to everything - we really liked our location on the ship.
