Pacific Eden Cruise Review by Ferny Lady
- Sail Date: October 2018
- Destination: South Pacific
That was the bad part.
The good part was the entertainment - those guys and gals are brilliant - starting with Spencer Chester the piano man. He is the best entertainer and gets the crowd singing and rocking. See more at: https://www.facebook.com/officialspencerchester/
An unexpected delight was The Highly Strung Rock and Roll Orchestra. This talented quartet features two classically trained violinists, a rock guitarist and a young singer and flute player. They are high energy, fun and engaging. We loved them. See more at: https://www.facebook.com/highlystrungrockandrollorchestra/
Congratulations t0 Pablo, the cruise director and the whole team for keeping us busy and happy for so many slow cruising days.
We found the food good. Here are some tips. Order two entrees or two mains as the portion sizes in the restaurants are small. We liked Angelo's - Italian and Dragon Lady - Modern Asian. We highly recommended eating breakfast in the dining room. The Greek poached eggs with smashed avocado and feta yoghurt dressing was superb.

BeachA long bus ride over rough roads to a nice beach - but not a great beach. It was windy cloudy and the water was cold. There was a strong rip.View All 50 Beach Reviews
NoumeaWe have visited before so did not take a tour. We found a good coffee shop and accessed wifi. The markets were repetitive and overpriced. The duty free grog is cheaper than on the ship.View All 363 Noumea Cruise Port Reviews
