Silversea is marketed as a pampering and luxury cruise line. However, my experience was not as luxurious as anticipated. A friend warned me that the service/food level had dipped in the last couple of years and we booked nonetheless.
The cuisine was mediocre in most restaurants. Atlantide and La Dame were fine as far as the level of cuisine offered, and we loved our meals there, however we found the offerings in the rest of the ship to be less than...not what we expected.
Our cabin attendant was very sweet and accommodating. The luggage delivery was late, and not his fault, but we boarded the ship at 2 and didn’t receive our luggage until after 6...beyond annoying. Also, we are used to the service level of Azamara where any food or drink wish was taken care of immediately. We didn’t get a bottle of Ketel One for our room for 2 days. And the level of in room cuisine was also mediocre and almost always cold.
