We enjoyed a transatlantic Cruise on the Epic in April 2018, so decided to try the transpacific. This cruise was far better than the first. The ship was one of the medium size ones with about 2400 passengers as compared to the Epic with about 4000. Unlike the Epic, most of the Jewel’s public areas were appropriately sized, some seats were normally, but not always, available in most bars, restaurants & entertainment without excessive waiting.

Our mini suite on deck 11 was spacious & well laid out; I even had a bathtub!

Food was very good, although menus did seem to start repeating toward the end of the 19 day cruise. Some passengers continued on for another 16 days. I think that might be too long on the same ship at one time.
