We chose this cruise because it ended in LA so a short drive to our winter home in Tucson, AZ. We did it a little different by flying into Seattle. We then took the sky train to downtown Seattle and were able to check into our room at the Westin. Spent several hours exploring Pike Place Market and the waterfront area. Very enjoyable!

We took the Amtrak Cascades the next morning to Vancouver. Very nice, scenic train ride to Vancouver! Then a quick cab ride ($15 with tip) to Canada Place and were on the Bliss very soon thereafter.

Met friends in the Local and had some drinks and snacks.
