The embarkation process was smooth. The ship is very run down and in need of serious refurbishing. Had problems with the HVAC the entire cruise. The food was mediocre, limited in choices and rarely hot. There was little enrichment on sea days unless you consider a sales pitch as enrichment. America's Test Kitchen was like a 7th grade home ec class. There was a very old demographic. The decor in some of the public areas was distasteful. Some of the entertainment was terrific...the comedian and the BBC presentation were wonderful. Entertainment on the lounges was good, not great. The staff was great and always upbeat and helpful!! We did private tours rather than the ship's tours....more economical and we could decide exactly what we wanted. The Canadian ports were very good except for Sydney, NS where there was not much to see or do. Disembarkation was very fast and went well.
