Spent three days in Copenhagen before we departed. We stayed at the downtown Marriott on the riverfront, a great central location. Copenhagen is a beautiful city. Great food, lots of charm, easy to get around. The canal and harbor tour was great. Embarkation was easy, NCL is very organized and efficient. We had no issues at all. We visited Gothenburg Sweden, Southampton England, Cork Ireland and the Azores after leaving Copenhagen. NCL offered a great variety of tours. We were disappointed in the West islands tour in Sweden. The tour guide did not communicate well and was very difficult to understand. The Stonehenge tour was phenomenal and the Best of Ireland tour was equally as enjoyable. Both provided plenty to see and do and well worth the money. In the Azores the ship docks in a lovely town that is very easy to visit on foot. We visited an old fort that was very interesting and a number of beautiful cathedrals all within easy walking distance of the ship. It was a great port, a beautiful place to visit and grab some local food and drink. The 5 days of sailing at sea flew by. The food and entertainment was above our expectation. Definitely first rate. Having to get in line hour before showtime to get a decent seat in the theater was annoying but the quality of entertainment made it worthwhile. Overall NCL provided an excellent experience. We will certainly consider another NCL cruise for our next trip.
