Sail Date: Sep 2018
Cabin: Club Oceanview Stateroom (obstructed view)

We chose this cruise because of itinerary, price and previous experience on Azamara Journey. We flew to Athens where we had an overnight stay in the Sofitel hotel at Athens airport. After breakfast next day we returned to the airport to get our private transfer to the port of Piraeus. The taxi dropped us off at the cruise terminal where we were swiftly checked in but because we were early, we had to wait approximately 30 minutes before we could embark (Azamara provided coffee and soft drinks in the meantime).

Cabin

We had an obstructed view cabin on deck 6 which we were quite happy with. We had plenty storage and although the shower is tiny, we knew this from past experience. Our cabin stewards kept the room clean and tidy.

Port Reviews

Mykonos

Mykonos is lovely but was very busy with five cruise boats in port.

Rhodes

We have been to Rhodes before so just wondered through the old town and had lunch in a Taverna.

Dubrovnik

We have been to Dubrovnik before so went to Cavtat on the local bus. It cost us aprroximately £6 each return. It is a beautiful little town to visit.
