Good Itinerary, good food, friendly staff but ship dated and needs a refresh.

We chose this cruise because of it's itinerary from Montreal to New York. We chose Oceania because of it's food and luxury.

The itinerary was great even though the weather has not been too good. The cabin was comfortable enough but too small compared to equivalent luxury small ships. It was also dated, main problem was the old, small plastic shower room, and the storage was about enough for 2 weeks, any longer and there's not enough storage. Other reviews say the same thing.

We are in cabin 7088 which suffers a lot from engine noise, again a sign of poor design and age. The noise was very disappointing so keep away from 7088 if you can.

Cabin Review

Concierge Level Veranda Stateroom

Cabin A2

Small with poor shower room and storage. Luxurious enough other than that as long as you accept it's a small cabin. Would have been quite happy as we knew the cabins were small before we booked. However, cabin 7088 suufers from a lot of engine noise so should be avoided if possible. I would expect other cabins in the same area could be the same but 7088 is right next to the bulkhead which could make it worse.
