Serenade of the Seas in Portland Maine
Serenade of the Sea in St. John New Brunswick

We have done this cruise over and over, it never gets old there is always something new to see in Maine and in the Canadian ports. We booked the highly coveted Junior Suite aft cabin 1100 over a year ago. It was our first time in an aft cabin, and what a spectacular one. They have reupholstered the furniture and the cabin is in great shape. The huge balcony was perfect for this cruise with lots to see.

The food was great on this cruise, though we only ate in the MDR twice. The service has become much too rushed, and the staff is just running around. It is much calmer in the Windjammer for dinner, and the food is the same with many other selections besides. We did enjoy the "tutti" salad on one of the sea days. Always a treat to have this fabulous chopped salad, and the wonderful deserts. We had dinner in Chops one night, excellent service and the menu has changed. We liked the choices better.

We enjoyed the entertainment, the singers and dancers were very talented. We went to the Safari Lounge one night where the singers did a cabaret jazz type show too. The Beatles tribute group was fun and did an excellent show.

We booked the highly coveted Junior Suite aft cabin 1100 over a year ago. The huge balcony was perfect for this cruise with lots to see. The cabin steward was very attentive and kept the cabin spotless. The couch and chair had new upholstery.
