We were concerned about a long sea journey at the start of a cruise so opted for this itinerary as it boarded in Barcelona. The ports of call all appealed, with many being our first visit. I had been recommended to Celebrity because of the service and friendliness of staff which DID NOT disappoint.

Although only a deck 2 ocean view cabin it was extremely comfortable and surprisingly spacious. Dean ( our stateroom attendant) was very efficient and friendly and made us very welcome throughout.

We dined mainly in the Main Restaurant and were lucky enough to have Jorge, Kumamoto and Elvin looking after us and they were truly amazing. We couldn’t ask for more attentive and genuine staff. Olga and Jacqueline at front desk of the main restaurant always greeted us with a warm welcome and again really made every night an experience.

Cabin Review

Ocean View 7

Very comfortable bed. Reasonable storage facilities and clean bathroom.

Port Reviews

Barcelona

Loads to see and do before joining the ship.

Ibiza

Did our own walking tour of the old town, which had stunning views at the top of the island. Just make sure you take the walk steadily and ensure you have sun cream on and lots of water to drink.

Valencia

Our favourite stop on this cruise. Beautiful destination and really enjoyed taking a short taxi ride to visit the Lladro factory to see how their amazing craftwork is produced.

Catania

Whether it was because we arrived on a Sunday we don’t know, but we thought it was a poor place to wander around.

Kotor

We got up very early to experience one of the most stunning arrivals into Montenegro - a must for any traveller. Such a shame about the 70mph winds on arrival and throughout the day - resulting in us deciding to stay on ship for the day and not take the tender to the shore. At least we have somewhere to revisit in the near future.

Palma de Mallorca (Majorca)

The port and cathedral are stunning.

Venice

Not a bad place but we thought it was rather expensive compared to other key destinations we have visited.

Split

Another destination we felt didn’t need an organised tour so spent our time walking around the outstanding Diocletian Palace
