We chose this particular cruise because we wanted to see as many Hawaiian islands as possible in our limited amount of time, and for the most part it lived up to our expectations.

The NCL staff was universally pleasant & helpful, especially our cabin steward, Eric. I'd read a number of previous reviews stating that staff was unfriendly/unhelpful, but this was not our experience at all. The ship was attractive & very clean throughout. We ate at 3 specialty restaurants - Jefferson's Bistro (French), Moderno (Brazilian steakhouse), & Cagney's (American steakhouse) - and all were excellent, both food & service. Entertainment was very enjoyable & professionally presented.

Our experiences with the "included" restaurants & buffet were OK, but not great. Often, finding a seat during peak times was a challenge, but I suppose that's to be expected with a full ship. The food was about what you'd find at most chain restaurants (such as Applebee's) throughout the country.

Cabin Review

Large Balcony

Cabin B6

Our cabin was nice. Small, but about what was expected on a cruise ship where space is at a premium. Shower was tiny, but again, this is kind of expected on a ship - we just laughed about it. The cabin was clean & comfortable, and we always had plenty of linens, including beach towels automatically provided for the shore excursions that included chances to swim. We especially appreciated our balcony when sailing past the Na Pali coast of Kauai at sunset!
