Thought it was an inexpensive option for family holiday. Now know not a good choice. Pantry food boring and disappointing.....Hot food warm, cold food almost the same. Strong smell of sewerage on every deck except where smokers were. No cheap options if one wanted to try something different. Free coffee unpleasant. Spa prices ludicrous. Shore tours when not cancelled were good. Most Staff we had dealings with were excellent though. Thought organization could have been better and announcements clearer. Unless one likes to get drunk or gamble, not a lot of activities. Edge staff very good with grandsons. Pools quite small....couldn't even get in the on deck Spa tubs for the number of kids in there. Elemis at sea Spa well overpriced and overcharged. The Jewel is tired that's why its being sold. Don't expect luxury... unless you have lots of money to try the upmarket bits. And expect to pay through the nose for anything extra.

Cabin Oceanview

The Jewel is tired but cabin was adequate. Nestor kept it clean for us.
