Gems of the Danube river cruise
(my husband and I were actual paying cruisers on the Jasper just 11 days ago. We were not compensated in any way to write this review)
We did online research of several cruise lines. We were particularly looking at the excursions offered on various cruise lines. We felt Scenic offered a good variety of choices. Some active choices and some less active choices depending on how you're feeling. As expected the excursions were well thought out and executed. When traveling to a particular location we were aboard Volvo coaches. Very nice.
Cabin Review
Our room had a very comfortable king size bed. Seriously I'd like to know the brand of the mattress we slept on! Very comfy. The room was roomier then we expected it to be. Perhaps that was due to the unique 'spaceship' design. Even the bathroom and shower was bigger then we expected. It seemed that the amenities in the room had been very well thought out. Robes, slippers, clothes line, trekking poles, umbrella, a constantly stocked mini-bar, snacks, bottle openers, bed side reading lights, etc The crisp clean white linens & pillows on the bed felt like a treat. We also really enjoyed the high quality toiletries that were replenished daily. Everything in the room worked perfectly. We enjoyed being able to push a button and the glass balcony wall went down so we could stand or sit and enjoy the amazing views.
Each person had a Taylormade device in their room.
