I am not sure where to start this was a most amazing cruise which i have had so far with Royal Caribbean. Honestly i have no ties at all with Royal but just love the experience on board their ships. This cruise was really something special for me and the kind people i shared the cruise with. All went well on boarding Rhapsody we were an hour late due to fog at Gatwick but it was not an issue.

Rhapsody is i think now 20 plus years old but still great for her age small but big enough to have a great vacation experience. My cabin was 7147 an inside towards the back of the ship it was good. Douglas looked after my stateroom and was always smiling. Douglas was due to go home on the day we docked back in Venice on the 13th October. It was so nice to share his happiness to counting down his days. He worked so hard everyday to look after everyone and make sure everything was OK

The food was just the best that i have experienced so far on a cruise Ivan who looked after us in the evening at table 30 was great. We would sometimes meet up at lunch with him as well in the main dining room. The Windjammer was also really good and a great choice for lunch so many people said how good it was as well. I did have breakfast on a couple of days in the dining room and on the last morning i had the breakfast muffin in Park Cafe it too was good.

Cabin 3V

A great inside cabin big enough compared to some and enough storage but the i am a single traveler. As always i am not sure that i have chosen the correct cabin category for my cabin

Port Reviews

Venice

I love sailing in and out of Venice but i did not have enough time to spend some time there

Kotor

You don't have to do a tour just tender in and visit inside the wall city as i call it or share a drink or meal in a bar

Athens (Piraeus)

I enjoyed a snack and a drink and picked up the wifi

Mykonos

It was windy but i shared my time with some friends from Rhapsody had a walk around then enjoyed a drink in a lovely little cafe/bar.

Argostoli (Kefalonia)

I wasn't lucky enough to see any turtles here but some people managed to see some from the ship. Not to big a place from what i saw but enjoyable
