We've been on 30-plus cruises and this one was wonderful. We were very fortunate to have perfect weather at ALL the ports. Glacier Bay was the clearest we have ever seen it ... you could see sites we've never seen before. Absolutely gorgeous. In Skagway, we rented a jeep and drove up to the Yukon. Wonderful drive with many picturesque stops! Much better than I an anticipated. We drove all the way to Emerald Lake, which was simply gorgeous. In Juneau, we hired a driver who took us to many spots the cruise ship passengers don't see. We stopped at Auke Lake, which was beautiful. He drove all over Juneau and our driver was very knowledgeable and worth the money. We just walked around town in Ketchikan. Best boarding ever ... walked right on the ship. Although we are suite/4-star Mariners, everyone walked right on. This could have changed later in the day. Food: We ate every meal, breakfast and dinner, in the Pinnacle except for one night in the Tamarind. The Pinnacle was fabulous, as usual, and we had exceptional service. We also did the Sel De Mer pop-up restaurant which was great. Cabin: We always get an aft corner suite ... perfect for photos of Alaska! Wonderful room, away from everything and so quiet. You have a bacony that wraps around the corner so you can get wonderful photos. Only complaint would be seating at the buffet on sea days ... couldn't find a seat and ended up by the pool. The cooking demonstrations were great! We also loved the classical music venue. Overall, wonderful cruise.
